 Post subject: Rookie's Ruttin' Buck

I cooked some of Rookie's venison tonight. I waaaaaay over cooked it. It was very tough. However, I thought the taste was great. Just seasoned with salt, pepper, and herb infused olive oil. Sugar P. thought it was a little gamey but that opinion was largely attributed to the toughest pieces. I should have given them 1.5 minutes per side as opposed to waiting for the blood to bubble up on the uncooked side.

We've decided that inch thick steaks are probably the way to go. Your mileage may vary.
