Hunters’ Sausage
Relax, we are not calling for the death and consumption of The Associated’ Morris’ dog. We are raising the issue of cooking the hunters’ sausage obtained from Kent Short at Old Fashion Country Butcher. We think it is better cooked. Cut a length of it and toss it in a pan with a little bit of oil. Cook it up nice and crispy and enjoy. The benefit is that it is more firm than the uncooked sausage and the casing, which can be a bit chewy, is nice and crispy when cooked.

We suggest you try it. We can supply you with a length of the stuff upon request.
